  • I stumbled onto this record years ago while shopping online looking for new Johnny Fiasco records. It wasnt Johnny's track that made me buy this. It was those "Sean" mixes, in particular Sean's Skankin mix on the A1 really blows me away. I'm a sucker for big room drums and catchy basslines so I immediately got that "wow, wtf is this!?" feeling when I played it. Sean's mixes have a lot of reverb built into their drums so its like they are almost destined to be dropped in a big hall full of sweaty funky house heads. Sean's production style is a far cry from those generic soulful deep jazzy soft paino sax 119bpm house tracks that people seem to make by the dozen these days that are so unbelievably boring. What a gem.
